Operations Engineer

Our client is seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Engineer to join their team at their Abattoir. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the meat processing industry, demonstrating strong analytical and leadership skills to enhance manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Work independently and collaboratively within a team, exhibiting excellent communication skills. Engage in physical tasks as needed and maintain high energy levels. Lead process optimization initiatives to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs. Analyze manufacturing processes through data collection and statistical analysis to drive continuous improvement. Manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and streamline supply chain dynamics. Adapt to change, meet strict deadlines, and handle pressure effectively. Exhibit self-motivation, a high-performance mindset, and a strong work ethic. Work extended hours as required and be open to working overtime. Requirements: Experience: 3-5 years in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in the meat processing industry. Education: B Eng in Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree. Qualifications: Project Management qualification. Project Management Experience: Minimum 3 years. Production & Operational Experience: Minimum 3 years.
