Job Summary: Planstin is seeking an experienced Operations Director that's ready to join an organization committed to creating inspired healthcare experiences! The Operations Director will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational activities that support the day-to-day operations of Planstin. This leadership role will ensure that processes are running smoothly, efficiently, effectively, and optimize resources to deliver exceptional services to our clients. They will work closely with the executive team to implement strategic initiatives, manage operational risk, and ensure high standards of performance throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of Planstin, ensuring that client services such as claims processing, enrollment, customer service, and reporting are delivered efficiently.Analyze operational trends and data to identify areas of improvement in workflows and implement new processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.Lead and manage teams that report to this role such as claims, fulfillment, and facility management.Nurture vendor relationships and serve as a point of contact for escalation of key clients.Facilitate client meetings to provide updates on operations, resolve operational issues, and gather feedback to implement corrective actions when necessary.Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across operational workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and quality.Leverage technology and automation to streamline processes, reduce errors, and cut operational costs.Manage the budget for the operations department, ensuring that operation expenses align with revenue projections and company goals.Analyze and report on operational costs, efficiency, and overall profitability.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement the company's long-term operational strategy, aligning with business objectives.Identify areas of growth and improvement, ensuring scalability and alignment with overall business goals. Qualifications: Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or relevant graduate degree or experience is required.10+ years of experience in an operations leadership role, preferably within a TPA, Insurance, or Healthcare industry.Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and driving operational efficiency.Strong background in process optimization, risk management, and financial oversight.Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and possess interpersonal skills.Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, Kanban, Kaizen).Proficiency with operational management software.
