Operations Administrator – Trade Finance Industry: Financial Services Location: Hybrid – Melrose Arch (2 Days Onsite) Salary: Base of R300,000 – R360,000 per annum (depending on experience) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time Minimum Qualification: Tertiary qualification, Bachelor's degree or similar requiredRole OverviewAre you detail-oriented and passionate about ensuring operational excellence?
This exciting opportunity as an Operations Administrator within the Trade Finance division offers the chance to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Your role will involve managing FICA compliance, drawdown processing, client queries, and system accuracy, all while supporting a growing portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesFICA Compliance and Audits: Manage onboarding, risk scoring, and compliance audits for all clients, ensuring adherence to legislative and regulatory changes.Client Pay-Outs: Oversee drawdown processing, including document preparation, system updates, and ensuring all pre- and post-drawdown requirements are met.Client Management: Respond promptly to client queries, monitor utilization, and provide proactive reminders for upcoming repayments.System Maintenance: Ensure accurate data reconciliation and maintain the integrity of the CRM and loan management systems.Administrative Excellence: Safeguard all legal agreements, maintain organized records, and assist in improving operational efficiencies.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Trade Finance team, provide training to new staff, and actively engage in self-development.Required Experience and SkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent (NQF Level 6).Minimum of 3 years' experience in an operations role within a lending environment.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.Strong analytical skills, high numeracy, and attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Proven capability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.Core CompetenciesExceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proactive, self-motivated, and able to handle a dynamic workload.Strong passion for administrative work and commitment to operational excellence.This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative and high-energy environment.
