Description
The primary role of the Operational Success Engineer is to enhance the service quality and efficiency of our operations across various sites by leveraging dynamic and modern technologies. Duties and Responsibilities
• Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to gather insights for process improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all service operations.
• Lead the service component of flagship products across multiple sites, ensuring that our solutions are deployed effectively at scale, and that they deliver tangible improvements in operational performance.
• Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and challenges, providing expert advice and support to ensure that our service solutions meet their requirements and exceed expectations.
• Analyse and optimize service processes to improve efficiency and quality across operational sites.
• Conduct regular analysis of service performance, identifying areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate service solutions with overall operational strategies.
• Oversee the maintenance and update of service-related tasks, including automation tools and software platforms.
• Develop and deliver training and support materials for operational teams to ensure best practices in service management.
• Monitor and report on service metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Lead projects aimed at the development and implementation of new service processes and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all service engineering activities.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding service engineering issues and solutions.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree OR a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Industrial Engineering, Chemical/Process Engineering, Metallurgical Engineeringor in a relevant field
Experience and SkillsRequirements
• 3+ years of experience in engineering or services functions in an engineering industry.
• Proficiency in using software tools relevant to process and service engineering. Familiarity with basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) is also valuable.
• Experience in the service management aspect of industrial operations, including the implementation and optimization of service processes.
• Ability to perform detailed analysis of service operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in report writing and client presentations using MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
• Medically fit and able to pass medical examinations required for working in operational environments, if necessary.
• Fluent in English (Read, write, and speak) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a related industry, such as mining, manufacturing, or any other field involving complex operational processes, would be advantageous.
