We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Manager with a background in mining to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple mining sites. The successful candidate will manage site managers, ensure smooth coordination across operations, handle client relationships, and drive operational efficiency and compliance with industry regulations. This role is pivotal in ensuring sustainable productivity and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Manage, mentor, and provide guidance to site managers across multiple locations. Ensure clear communication and alignment of goals across sites. Monitor staff performance and implement improvement initiatives where needed. Oversee daily operations to ensure production targets and KPIs are met. Identify and resolve bottlenecks or operational challenges swiftly. Implement best practices to improve efficiency, safety, and profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention. Act as the primary point of contact for operational inquiries from clients. Provide regular updates and reports on operational performance to clients and stakeholders. Prepare and manage budgets for operational activities. Ensure cost-effective use of resources without compromising safety and quality. Conduct regular audits to monitor costs and operational efficiency. Ensure strict adherence to mining regulations, safety standards, and environmental laws. Promote a culture of safety awareness across all sites. Implement and maintain risk management strategies. Must be willing to drive and work out of office Must be willing to work overtime Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (a Masters degree is advantageous). 5-8 years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record in the mining industry preferably. Strong background in managing multiple sites and operational teams. Demonstrated experience in client relationship management. Excellent knowledge of industry safety standards, mining regulations, and compliance.
