Operational Excellence / Industrial Engineer - Mining

Requirements:BEng/BSc in Mining or Industrial Engineering5 years experience in operational excellence in a mining or mining related services environment3years management experience3 - 5 years experience in implementing operational improvement into operationsResponsibilities:To conduct Operational Excellence projects and continuously improve organizational processes, systems, and workflows, to optimize business performance and to enhance the companys operational reputation amongst customersIdentify opportunities to improve field operations (including but not limited to field employees, raw material stock, site layout, infrastructure etc.)
by conducting analysis and evaluation of field operations and costs, gathering data and insights, engaging and collaborating with field operators and leaders, evaluating, reviewing ROI, identifying opportunities, developing recommendations and reporting within deadline.Implement field operations improvement projects by implementing best practice project practices, implementing project tracking and monitoring measures, managing implementation, measuring success/failures, resolving and optimizing as and when possible and required.Other:Strategic managementDepartmental / operational planning an managementTechnical managementBudget and financial managementRisk managementStakeholder management
