Operational Accountant

The purpose of this role is to work closely with various departments across the business and achieving a controlled and high level of financial awareness.Duties include, but are not limited to:Reporting and follow-up of financial checks for businessResolve finance queriesDirect involvement and monitoring stock take variance reporting and investigationsCommunicate anomalies to relevant partiesAssist with month-end and year-end closingsAssist with annual audit and BEE audit processFixed Asset RegisterCAPEX reportingMonthly reportingPrimary contact for insurance related support and claimsEducation:Completed BCom Degree (Finance, Accounting)Job Experience & Skills Required:2 to 3 years' experience in an accounting positionManufacturing industry experience essentialAdvanced Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational skillsMeticulous attention to detailAble to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reportsGood oral and written communication skillsApply analytical and creative thinkingAPPLY NOW!
