Description/SynopsysA large specialist manufacturing Company on Johannesburg's East Rand has a role available for an operational Accountant, in their production division. Reporting to the Finance Manager - the successful Accountant will assume responsibility for the full accounting function for their division.Minimum RequirementsBCom degree in AccountingCompleted SAICA or SAIPA ArticlesExposure to manufacturing or transport clients during articles will be beneficialMust live close to the East Rand, or be willing to relocateResponsibilitiesThe financial accountant's responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:Processing of month end Journals/ Accruals to update TB for month end close off.Compiling for review and submitting VAT returns to head office and SARS.Preparing of Monthly reports for Management Reports.Liaison in budgeting process between finance and different departmentsAssisting with Budgets.Fixed assetsDesired SkillsAttention to detailGood communication skillsAbout The EmployerDo you see yourself as the successful Operational Accountant at this specialist Company?
