Operation Specialist - Stanger (Kwadukuza)

Responsible for managing and maintaining the company fleet
including operations, Business improvement & Client management.
Salary: R28 000 – R31 000
Department: LOGISTICS
Main Duties include:
• Act as an advisor in the technical, sales and operational functions on the site
• Oversee/Supervise special jobs at clients' sites
• Assist drivers as and when required
• Identify key interventions for improvement in operations and technical management
• Project management from initiation until completion
• Manage and coordinate tender process
• Complete Fleet maintenance – pre and post inspections
• Coordinate induction and occupations for site employees
• Oversee inventory management practises
• Live vehicle tracking on fleet using the Auto Tracking System
• Manage the Bin Maintenance/Bin yard and slave truck
• Relief Site Supervisor across all sites as required
• Act as a rotational supervisor on weekends/standby for operations/fleet

Criteria:
• Grade 12 + Qualified Mechanic/Mechanical technician with min T3 or N5 certificate
• 3 – 5 years Mechanical and technical skills experience
• 3-5 years of fleet maintenance Management experience
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to analyze and improve operation processes
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Strong problem solving and time management skills
• Self-sufficient – the ability to work with the minimal supervision
• MUST live in Stanger, KwaDukuza
