Job Description - OneS4 Global Tax Technology Manager (2407028852W) Kenvue is currently recruiting for: OneS4 Global Tax Technology Manager (Fixed-Term) The OneS4 Global Tax Technology Manager is responsible to lead, shape and develop tax solutions, as part of the Kenvue One S4 Project, focused on the EMEA rollout.
This role will focus on driving adoption of the global template for transaction systems, implementation of Vertex, DRC, and automation opportunities to help the Global Tax Organization streamline tax processes, manage increasing and complex legal requirements in tax reporting and compliance and reduce manual workload.
The Global Tax Technology Manager will partner closely with Global and Regional tax and other functional specialists to gather, prioritize, articulate, and embed critical tax requirements into technology projects, owning core areas of knowledge and reporting on progress, challenges and significant decision points.
This role will lead a team of tax technology consultants and manage the timelines associated with the EMEA workstreams for tax.
This project role will have an approximate 2.5 year duration focusing on the tax requirements and build for the EMEA regions OneS4 rollout.
This position reports into Director Tax Technology and Process and is based in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Netherland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, England.
What You Will Do: Serve as Tax Project Lead on the One S4 EMEA Deployment Management of outside service providers, including managing expectations/deliverables Articulate and drive Tax requirements to ensure the S4 ERP configuration complies with Global Tax Requirements including E-Digital Reporting Requirements Collaborate and communicate with Global and Regional Tax Planning, Operations and Global Tax Leadership team to ensure One S4 aligns with Tax Requirements and tax strategy Identify Tax Fit/Gaps in current design and work with Project Team and external resources to develop solutions.
Develop an in depth understanding of the Vertex Indirect Tax Engine capabilities and SAP S4 Hana capabilities.
Perform testing of direct/indirect tax related test scripts for activities related to Intercompany, transfer pricing, fixed assets etc.
and ensure that functionality meets tax requirement specifications.
Template and document the tax technology approach to core business models and transactions (e.g.
toll manufacturing, flash title distribution, centrally owned inventory management).
Lead VAT Indirect Vertex O Series Cloud Based Deployment in EMEA Perform material mapping, configure tax rules for each EMEA country, test representative transactions to ensure that tax rules are firing properly.
Coordinate with Vertex product owner and administration team to ensure standardization of Vertex architecture.
Identify key areas for innovation and automation within the tax function; provide recommendations for solutions; provide oversight for execution of deployments within the global tax function.
Lead DRC deployments as it relates to tax requirements and testing Lead DART tax requirements for EMEA in conjunction with the IT team.
Train tax users on OneS4, Vertex and where applicable DRC technology.
Provide PMO support for US and EMEA rollouts to ensure that tax stays in line with the broader workstreams What We Are Looking For: Required Qualifications Strong project management skills are required Minimum of 8 years of related experience in U.S. multinational corporation University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field Ability to understand basic accounting and tax concepts is required Broad experience managing consultants and service providers Ability to understand IT terminology Experience with financial reporting systems such as SAP Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and promote innovation and continuous learning within the group is required.
Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail is required Excellent innovation, strategic thinking, influencing and communication skills, including the ability to frame and communicate highly technical matters in a concise manner to business partners around the world including senior management in required Knowledge of indirect tax rules (VAT) is required Desired Qualifications Experience with Vertex O Series Tax Determination Knowledge of transfer pricing concepts is preferred Knowledge of EMEA Direct tax concepts is preferred Experience with VIM and Ariba is preferred What's In It For You: Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time, Flexible Ways of Working & More!
