The On the road Accident Assessor is responsible to determine quantum and merit of damages sustained in an incident to vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, caravans, watercraft and yellow metal equipment.

Job Description Responsibilities: Assessing claims on a daily basis Monitor and manage the average repair cost as well as the quality of their own assessments Dealing with customer complaints and adhoc queries Analysing of own data to ensure meeting targets Good understanding of performance KPI's Liaise with service providers, clients and advisors Conduct all the above to the required performance and quality standards that are in place Qualifications: Matric Qualified Panel beater, Spray Painter or Motor Mechanic Own Road worthy Vehicle Valid driver's license Minimum 2 years assessing or estimating experience VDQ Professional Membership Leadership, Management and or Insurance related studies completed or in progress will be beneficial Additional Information: Requirements: Computer Literate Enthusiastic in dealing with people in a stressful, deadline orientated environment is essential. Competencies/Attributes: Personal drive and a positive attitude. Ability to be a self-starter and drives tasks to completion. Excellent organisational skills. A team player with a flexible approach. Calm and professional manner. Ability to prioritise and multi-task. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, including proof reading skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy. Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality at all times. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with difficult clients. An ideal candidate will be able to align their personal work values to the OUTsurance values of Awesome Service, Passionate, Honest, Human, Dynamic and Recognition.
