Oms Specialist – Learning & Assurance

The Operating Management System (OMS) Specialist – Learning & Assurance will coordinate all Operations Assurance OMS elements on behalf of all Astron Energy BUs, with 60% of the time supporting the Refinery and the balance supporting the rest of the BUs.The duties will include the following:Accountable for closing Learning & Assurance OMS gap closure actions.Planning and Action management.Incident management and lessons learned.Verification, assurance, and audit.SHEQ legal compliance.Information management and document control.Review and rewrite (where necessary) all procedures to align with the learning and assurance OMS elements.Serve as program management officer. Coordinate planning, actions & document control related to OMS program office.Develop and conduct BU learning and assurance OMS training.Plan and conduct BU self-verifications (Tier 1) and support BUs with Tier 2/3 audits.Support the Document Management System (CDMS) update project, approximately 750+ documents for the Refinery which requires review and alignment with OM.Professional Qualifications and Certifications:BTech degree in Engineering, Environmental Health, or similar relevant technical degree.2-3+ years of experience in Operations or SHEQ field in the oil and gas industry.Work Experience:Experience with refinery operations, maintenance execution, personal safety, and/or SHEQ/ISO auditing.Experience in developing procedures and training.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels within the organization.Knowledge and Skills:Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple priorities.Excellent English communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
