Job DescriptionThis role performs the debtors control function to ensure timeous payment. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts.Key Responsibilities:Creates monthly invoices and statements.Journalizes invoices on the General Ledger system.Creates Cost Centres and Cost Centre Accounts.Assists with general account queries.Follows up with debtors and internal departments to secure payment.Compiles and Reconciliation Control Accounts and General Ledger Accounts.Maintain fixed asset register.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12 (Matric).Tertiary qualification beneficial.3 years of experience in an accounting environment.Knowledge of accounting principles.Proven experience with MS Office (intermediate level - MS Excel and Word).Experience with SUMMIT/Oracle would be advantageous.Closing Date: 05 November 2024The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit in question.Old Mutual Limited is pro-vaccination and encourages its workforce to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.All prospective employees are required to disclose their vaccination status as part of the recruitment process.
