Job Description The Strategic Partnerships team is looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Partner Management Lead, who will be responsible for building and managing relationships between our strategic partners and internal business stakeholders, ensuring the highest level of performance from our partners while consistently managing and seeking to reduce costs through greater efficiencies and collaboration. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of partnership programs.
KEY RESULT AREAS Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for managing and growing strategic partnerships. Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, ensuring alignment on business goals and priorities. Identify new partnership opportunities and negotiate favourable terms for the bank. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute joint programs with strategic partners. Support the Strategic Sourcing team as well as internal business stakeholders in their sourcing initiatives. Monitor and analyse the performance of partnerships to ensure they are meeting the bank's objectives. Consistently manage ongoing partner costs to ensure alignment with the bank's commercial objectives. Manage onboarding new strategic partners, and prioritise partnerships based on potential impact and feasibility through thorough due diligence and third-party risk processes. Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape and provide recommendations for new partnership opportunities. Continuously monitor and manage third party partner risk. Implement strategies and tools to manage partner performance through continuous observability ensure alignment to agreed SLAs seeking to improve SLAs and performance and identify cost saving opportunities. Understand and implement the Bank's policies and standards and ensure that they are applied across partners and during sourcing initiatives. Hone the bank's policies and standards and ensure alignment to the banks risk posture. ROLE REQUIREMENTS 5-10 years of experience in strategic account and partnership management, business development, or a related field. Proven track record of building successful partnerships that reduce costs and achieve revenue growth. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organisation. Experience in negotiating and finalising commercial contracts. Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams across the organisation. Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions. Experience in environments with SaaS and cloud deployments showing a good understanding of the architecture, technology, software, including all aspects of risks introduced. A proven track record managing third party risk. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
