Job Description As a Finance Controller, you will partner with the business unit in the country (Business Head, Sales & Functional leads) to ensure P&L transparency & accuracy and to drive the business towards targets & operational KPIs achievement. As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to link business decisions to financial impacts.

Business/ Country Economics & RegulationsFinancial Impact on Strategy ExecutionFinancial Planning & AnalysisFinancial & Management AccountingRisk Management – Monitor and track various risks associated with the business, which shall include but not be limited to identification of key risks, reporting, raising red flags in advance, and providing risk mitigation solutions.
Controls, Compliance & Assurance – Your ability to evaluate risks and determine their impact on the management audit, developing and/or modifying audit procedures as required. You will ensure compliance with legal and secretarial requirements as well as function within the norms of statutory audit regulations respective to the country/business.
Internal ControlsCompliance MeasuresMeasure & AssuranceTax complianceInternal and External Audit handlingTreasury – Maintain preferential relationships with banks. Mobilize long-term and short-term funds for new investments and working capital needs.
Capex – Evaluate capex proposals, recommend for approval, track costs and timelines, and conduct post-commissioning performance evaluations.
Reporting & Process Efficiencies – The finance controller demonstrates the conceptual ability to ideate and implement robust systems & processes suited to the business/country. You will also display accuracy and efficiency in MIS reporting and budgeting.
Capability Building – Build capability in the finance function, grow the finance leadership pipeline, and ensure effective knowledge & expertise transfer for the successful execution of finance strategies.
Personal Credibility & Thought LeadershipBuilding Functional CapabilityRequirements A qualified Chartered Accountant with 10-12 years of experience in finance in a manufacturing setup, preferably from FMCG.Experience in Sales/Commercial Finance and FP&A roles. Knowledge of OTC & RTR SAP modules is important.Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking & leadership abilities.Willingness to work in a dynamic profile and enthusiasm for working in an unstructured environment.Knowledge about banking and treasury functions will be an added advantage.Effective communication skills, especially as part of a team.Ability to understand business issues outside of one's area of expertise.
