The Vacancy Platform Property Care have a great opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer Service & Repair specialising in Oil Heating to join our award-winning Heating Team and cover our oil heated properties in Worcestershire & Herefordshire.
What could you be doing? You will be the Oil Heating specialist for the area, and we need you to help us keep our homes up to temperature! From minor servicing, full services, and repairs to basic pipe installations you will find no day the same.
As a team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
Some things we need from you: You will have sound experience and be ACS qualified and have CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CEN1 (or CENWAT), MET1, LPG and CPA1.NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/ Heating/ Ventilation is essential.As an Oil Heating specialist, you will need the following qualifications: OFT10-105E, OFT10-600A, and OFT10-101.You will be a good communicator and can work well with customers and other trades.You'll have a full UK driving licence.As you will be working in our customers' homes you would also require a DBS check.There is also the opportunity to earn up to £1500 per annum from the out of hours on-call allowance and voluntary overtime. This role will require being on the out of hours rota.
This is a mobile role covering all oil properties in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. A lot of these properties are based in rural areas so there will be more travel as part of this role, but a van and fuel card are provided. Ideally you would be centrally based in Worcestershire.
