Oil and Gas (Petroleum) Fiscal/Economic Modeler / Revenue SpecialistFull-timeProSidian is a Management and Operations Consulting Firm focusing on providing value to clients through tailored solutions based on industry-leading practices.ProSidian Seeks a Oil and Gas (Petroleum) Fiscal/Economic Modeler / Revenue Specialist (541690 Contract Contingent) located in Cape Town South Africa to support an engagement for U.S. Govt. International Technical Assistance Program (ITAP). Key Areas of Focus include policy, legal, and regulatory reform; technical, operational, and economic analysis; financial mechanisms and market creation; economic management, transparency and fiscal policy; and environmental impacts and social issues related to resource development.Candidates shall support requirements as a Oil and Gas (Petroleum) Fiscal/Economic Modeler / Revenue Specialist and provide industry technical expertise, experience, training, and support with Energy, Extractives, and Renewable Energy concerns to generate economic evaluations and sensitivity analyses concerning Oil and Gas operations.Serve as leading Oil and Gas industry adviser to regulated businesses, economic regulators, law firms and investors internationally.Provide critical insight and expert reports in the context of periodic regulatory reviews, strategic decision-making, public policy debates, M&A transactions and competition cases.Perform financial modeling and valuation of energy assets and support regulatory and M&A due diligence.Design price controls and regulatory frameworks to develop economic impact assessments and cost-benefit analyses.Prepare formal written reports and presentations related to Oil and Gas industry Economic Models and Revenue forecasts.Manage and carry out quantitative, industry and market analysis and report findings clearly.Develop and apply bespoke approaches to solve complex, unstructured problems.Develop and implement advanced methods for Oil and Gas capacity expansion modeling.Collaborate with analysts working on other modeling teams.Analyze and find answers to a variety of commercial, economic, financial, operational, and regulatory issues.The candidate shall have a minimum of Ten (10) years of consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years.
