Offshore Drill Rig Mechanic – Namibia/Ivory Coast

Min. 3 years experience on an Offshore drillship.To apply must have the following minimum:Mechanical DiplomaVarious professional and training certificatesWork employment certificatesBOSIETSeamans BookOGUK Medical Be safety minded during in all works and behaviours, use compulsory protective equipment and ensure the same for subordinatesCarry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action PlanEnsure that before any maintenance activity is started, a proper risk evaluation is carried out, precautions are taken and the work permit is signedAttend safety drills and meetings held on the rigApply all relevant work and safety procedures issuedPromptly report any safety hazard, accident, near-miss accident and non-conformance through proper channelsMonitor and prevent oil spills from hydraulic operated equipment, power related equipment as well as drilling mechanical related equipment and repair the equipment immediately in accordance with instructionsCarry good housekeeping in own working areaMaintain working areas, tools, equipment and safety harnesses in a safe, clean, tidy and orderly mannerPerform routine maintenance controls of the mechanical equipment and devices as per AMOS Work orders and provide for preventive, routine and non-routine, maintenance and repair of internal combustion engines, pumps, compressors and drilling related equipment of the rig in accordance with superior instructionsContract duration:12 months (renewable)Work/leave cycle:28 days on duty 28 days off dutySalary:340 EUR / USD per day of workOnshore:Paid 50% of the daily salary, for each day of presence onshore in the country of workWorking hours:12 hours a day / 84 hours a week (12X7)Accommodation:On BoardInsurances:Provided by the CompanyFlights:Provided by the Company
