To ensure all laid down procedures and regulatory requirements are met in so far, the Credit Agreements Act, auctioning of movable assets and vendor management in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA's) by effectively documenting, processing, insuring, and managing repossessed stock to drive the necessary actions to guarantee optimal prices are achieved on auctions whilst being proactively cost conscience.

Additional InformationAction delegated tasks from the Team Leader and Manager: Specialised Recoveries and Head, Rehabilitation and Recoveries within specified deadlines and reporting requirements.Adhere strictly to repossession, storage and disposal controls to facilitate the securing and realisation of the Bank's assets.Apply vigilance and report suspicious transactions to the Fraud Prevention Services and to the Money Laundering Officer, where appropriate, to prevent credit risks.Build individual capabilities through discovering likely future requirements and ensuring that you are provided with the best possible development opportunities in line with these.Build relations with key stakeholders throughout the Bank and relevant Industry, specifically VAF, IT, Storage and Transport Companies and Vehicle Dealerships by way of networking, collaborating, and supporting other functions and or departments.Comply with statutory, regulatory and supervisory requirements, to protect the reputation of the Group and to avoid legal action/sanction by studying and understanding the scope and limitations thereof.Contribute to the management of costs regarding repossessed assets effectively and implement cost saving initiatives on vehicle expenses by planning collection trips/visits effectively and taking care of vehicles to ensure optimal return.Convey relevant information to management by maintaining an open communication channel and by keeping an ear on the ground in terms of obstacles and possible ways of removing these obstacles for effective functioning.Co-ordinate and facilitate the successful re-sale of repossessed assets and other related functions through proper planning and stakeholder engagements.Create a mindset of continuous improvement attending lessons learnt and best practice discussions within Specialised Recoveries' colleagues in order to optimise processing efficiencies.Execute continuous improvement initiatives on set performance benchmarks, by improving existing practices in order to yield optimal performance levels within Specialised Recoveries.Implement effective collection strategies by following the correct procedures regarding maintenance and turn-around times of accounts and prioritize high-risk accounts.Improve own capabilities by participating in skills assessments and competency-based training to increase recovery rates on Legal related matters in order to exceed monthly recovery targets.Manage and nurture the customer's expectations and experience with regular feedback via the Vendor Engagement Model (VEM) and performance alignment engagements in respect of the Service Level Agreements (SLA's).Manage repossessed stock effectively through accurate and timeous documenting, processing and insuring, to initiate and support a smooth hand over process to external stakeholders.Please note: All our recruitment processes comply with the applicable local laws and regulations.
