Bringing true, meaningful value to our clients and the communities we serve and creating a real sense of purpose for you.Job DescriptionTo project manage all the Build functions for their Local Market portfolio, including Branches, Business Centers and ATMs. Focus on maintaining the approved design and corporate identity standards in all Build projects. To manage the unplanned maintenance and repairs emanating from these customer facing points of representation for the Bank, including closure of sites, downsizing, revamps and relocations.QualificationsA diploma in project management is required.Experience:3-4 years contractor and vendor management is required.3-4 years Local council and building regulations is required.Key Responsibilities:Participate as a key member of the team of Provincial Premises, providing input, feedback and solutions into the portfolio of Build projects. Project manage all premises related projects within Local Market (Build, Maintenance and Repairs) by applying the appropriate building and construction project management skills to ensure the provision of required service levels.Manage the delivery of and create an effective partnership with all relevant contractors and Turn Key vendors; clarify requirements in line with expectations, monitor the detail of delivery (quality, time, cost) and clarify additional work required. Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and in line with the specifications laid out in the corporate identity standards.Manage all Build, Maintenance and Repairs projects within the estimates defined in the Budget – optimise resources wherever possible. Control all administration and cost management for their portfolio of projects within authority limits.Managing projects of high monetary value (up to R5m and above) and high reputational value. Drive the generation of ideas that influence the reduction of operating costs. Effectively integrate IT systems, data and office equipment into the Build projects and their project management processes, understanding the relevant dependencies.Build effective working relationship with their Local Market Manager in order to understand the local market strategy and plans and how this translates into relevant Build projects at customer facing outlets; proactively integrate these strategies into Build projects (e.g. segments serviced in a specific Branch).Engage effectively with Provincial Management, assisting with the planning, budgeting and implementation of accommodation, equipment and furnishing needs.
