RS Recruitment & Training is assisting an IT SUPPORT COMPANY to recruit an OFFICE MANAGER/ACCOUNTS CLERK, to be based in WESTVILLE, DURBAN.
15k 20k exc benefits.
OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN PROVIDING ON-SITE AND REMOTE IT SUPPORT SERVICES NATIONALLY FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS.
Applicants should be/have the following: Matric certificate.
Relevant qualification in accounting/bookkeeping, an advantage.
Experience as an Accounts Clerk, or similar, essential.
Experience as an Office Manager.
Experience as a Team Leader.
Own transportation, an advantage.
Able to work independently.
Responsibilities include: Oversee business expenses and admin processes.
Smoot running of the finance department.
Review financial statements and investigate anomalies.
Order office supplies.
Client credit checks.
Conducting performance reviews with staff.
Inventory control.
Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Updating accounts receivable.
Issuing and processing of invoices (debtors and creditors/expenses/assets).
Managing assets register.
Payment collections via the debit order collection system.
Accounts payable reconciliation and set up of weekly/monthly payments.
Cashbook and bank reconciliation for the multiple bank accounts.
Debtors reconciliations (aging report).
Maintaining the petty cash account.
Handling and resolving issues.
Improving financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency with the business.
Respond to and resolve client billing queries.
Assisting the business accountant with monthly/yearly queries and reports.
Remuneration: R15000 R20000 excluding benefits
