Job Description: My client, a leading provider of solar water heating solutions in South Africa, specializing in cutting-edge solar technologies, is looking for an Office Administrator that is a highly organized, logical thinker with strong attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the management team and thrive in a structured, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities: · Handle the day-to-day administration of the office.
· Assist clients with quotes and directing them to the appropriate sales or technical staff.
· Record keeping (Client, supplier and stock).
· Ensure smooth logistics between suppliers, customers and management.
· Invoicing clients, processing payments, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded.
· Stock management - Tracking Inventory Levels, Ordering and Reordering, Warehousing, Forecasting Demand) · Customer service and Communication · Work closely with Management Requirements: · Fluent in Afrikaans & English · Strong Administrative skills · Attention to detail · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Focused and responsible · Self-motivated and results-oriented · Ability to work independently and as part of a team · Diploma or degree would be advantageous · Stock Management Experience - (Inventory Control, Stock Taking, Supplier Co-ordination, Stock Forecasting, Warehouse Management, Cost Control) · Minimum 5 years' experience in an administrator and stock inventory role with contactable references · Matric, Maths - 50% & Maths Lit - 70% · Must have own reliable car Personal Attributes: · Strong logical thinking skills are required, as this role involves working closely with the companys director, who is also their engineer and designer.
