About the role The Admin Assistant position is part of the YES Programme, aimed at providing work experience to individuals who have never worked before.
This role involves handling invoicing using Sage, managing stock, answering calls, and submitting quotes promptly.
The Admin Assistant will also be responsible for looking for job opportunities in online newspapers and other publications, filing electronically, updating social media and the website blog, taking pictures at sites, and ordering from suppliers. Responsibilities Handle invoicing using Sage software. Manage stock and inventory. Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately. Submit quotes to clients in a timely manner. Search for job opportunities in online newspapers and other publications. File documents electronically. Update social media accounts and the company blog. Take pictures at various sites for documentation and marketing purposes. Requirements Matric. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks. Good organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of social media platforms is a plus. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus. South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34. Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
