Office AdministratorOur established Software Engineering company is looking for a confident self-starter who has experience with office accounting and is PC literate to join our team as an Office Administrator.
ResponsibilitiesHandling day-to-day office administration and interactions with SOLIDitech office's rental agency (Cape Town and Johannesburg).Running office errands.Reconciling and managing office running costs and budgets.Monitoring, ordering and purchasing hardware and office and cleaning supplies.Managing office access control, parking allocation and logistics.Managing office repairs and maintenance.Managing hotdesk setup and allocation.Managing logistics surrounding hardware maintenance and returns.Assisting with the filing of office paperwork.Assisting with New Starter onboarding administration.Assisting with staff exit administration.Assisting with tasks such as organising meetings, making travel arrangements and reconciling travel costs, etc.Managing the Office Cleaning staff.Assisting the Marketing Team with arranging staff events.Answering phones and the front door and welcoming guests to the office.Assisting with improvements to streamline and optimise the running of the SOLIDitech offices.Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks.Required SkillsStrong admin skills.Great attention to detail.Flexibility.Methodical and thorough approach to work.Good organisational and prioritisation skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.Self-motivated, team player, action-and-results oriented.Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, internet).Able to set and achieve deadlines and give regular updates on progress.Demonstrate initiative and be proactive towards daily tasks.Willingness to learn.Keen interest in technology.Friendly and enjoys helping and working with people.Honest and hard-working.Owns a motor vehicle and has a valid South African driver's license.Qualifications / ExperienceMatric (Grade 12) essential.Strong PC literacy skills with at least 18 months experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides).At least 2 years of office administration experience.
