Office Administrator / Hospitality Host

Well established company based in East London are looking for an energetic and flexible Office Administrator / Hospitality Host to join our team. Duties and responsibilities: Manage data in spreadsheets and word documents Assist with the day-to-day management, administration and event planning of the company's luxury boutique guest house Supervise other staff Carry out clerical duties and communicate professionally and concisely, including answering phones and preparing documents Create brochures/pamphlets and online social media posts for marketing purposes Drive the company's media marketing strategy Manage stock taking Order supplies as required Organise maintenance to keep the guesthouse clean and safe and ensure everything is in good working order Work with senior management to improve guesthouse operations and procedures Be willing to do what it takes Skills and other requirements: Proven experience as an Office Administrator or Events Host Must have matric and additional relevant tertiary qualification advantageous (certificate/s to be provided on application) Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability Ability to work under pressure Energetic and self-starting The ability to context switch, prioritise and self-manage Maintain confidentiality Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with guests, suppliers, and team members Detail-oriented and organised with the ability to meet tight project deadlines Demonstrate expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud apps for social media marketing and presentation purposes (please provide evidence on application) Knowledge of MS Office especially Word, Outlook and Excel Willingness to travel Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays as per the operational requirements of the employer Own transport and driver's license required Should you wish to apply please email your CV through to Erin Bentz.
