Minimum Salary: R28 569,34 Cost to Company (including benefits) REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING BSc Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy (community year completed) Registered with HPCSA (independent practitioner) and Malpractice Insurance Maintain CPD standing as required by HPCSA Bobath / NDT training is beneficial 2 years experience in a rehabilitation environment is preferred Basic / Intermediate wheelchair training is beneficial Special interest and broad experience in Orthopaedics, Neurology (CVA/TBI and SCI) and Vocational readying KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Knowledge of the ICF Framework with good written and spoken English language skills. Effective interdisciplinary team member Awareness of evidence base for interventions Computer literacy (Beginner/intermediate Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook) Experience coordinating projects, people, or services Extensive knowledge regarding clinical practice in physical rehabilitation To foster therapeutic relationships in the inter-disciplinary team by developing joint goals, sharing information, and promoting a collaborative approach to patient and family care and outcomes Available to work on a weekend / public holiday on rotation KEY COMPETENCIES Communication Collaboration Analysis & decision making Initiative-taking Flexibility Willingness to change Humility Curiosity Self-discipline Perseverance
