Our Group Practice at Nurture Aurora in Gqeberha is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their team. Nurture Health provides medical, acute and sub-acute rehabilitation treatment for people with a wide range of disabilities caused by disease or injuries. These include spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, neurological disorders, orthopaedic conditions, and other debilitating conditions and illnesses. REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING BSc Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy (community year completed) Registered with HPCSA (independent practitioner) and Malpractice Insurance Maintain CPD standing as required by HPCSA Bobath / NDT training is beneficial Basic / Intermediate wheelchair training is beneficial Interest in pediatric and adult neurology. 1 year or more relevant experience in Neurology, Cognitive therapy and Spinal cord injuries Broad experience including orthopaedics, spinal cord injury and neurology Willingness and passion to work with an interdisciplinary team.
