OHS Care is also an ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System accredited company.Role DescriptionThis is an on-site contract role for an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner located in Brits for a site clinic starting on Monday, 16th September 2024 to work Mondays and Fridays from 08H00-14H30 and Wednesdays from 09H30-16H00. The Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary care services, focusing on occupational health. This includes assessing and managing workplace injuries and illnesses, promoting and maintaining employee health and safety, conducting health surveillance, and working closely with employers to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.Desired Qualifications & Experience:Qualified in Occupational Health NursingRegistered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)Certificate in Audiometry registered with SASOHNCertificate in Spirometry and Vision Screening3-5 years experience in the Occupational Health settingEffective Client Liaison CommunicationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPresentation skillsComputer literacyProfessional conduct with good interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team and independentlyAttention to detail and accuracy in documentationExperience with occupational health regulations and standardsDuties and Responsibilities:Management of the Occupational Health ClinicManagement of the screening equipmentOccupational Health Risk AssessmentsConducting medical examinationsIOD ManagementClinic complianceClinic administrationGenerating monthly reportsConducting Occupational Health or Primary Health Care talks as per the year planner or as requiredPrimary health care and chronic managementIncapacity and Disability ManagementDispensing medicinePLEASE NOTE: Should you not hear from us within 2 weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful.
