OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND COMPLIANCE OFFICERSalary level 5: R296,491 per annum (R216,417 + plus 37% in lieu of benefits)
Duration: 12 months contract
Purpose of the Position: To monitor the PanSALB's workplace activities, ensure all staff and visitors comply with health and safety policies and related regulations, and advise the organisation on all aspects concerning health and safety matters as per Occupational Health and Safety Act: 85 of 1993 OHS.
The incumbent must also coordinate, plan, implement, and monitor PanSALB compliance programs.
Minimum Requirements: Applicants must be in possession of a Senior Certificate/ Matric Certificate /Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification and a three-year National Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6 or 7) OHS Qualification or equivalent.
The Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in OHS and legislative compliance.
Experience in a supervisory role will be an added advantage.
Technical competencies needed: Excellent Communication, Strategic Thinking, Influence and impact, Project/Programme management and administration, Cost control, Research and analysis, Customer service, Attention to detail.
