You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, including grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid systems, and play a crucial role in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced energy installations Job Description: Conduct thorough analysis of plant performance data to gain valuable insights, optimize system efficiency, and recommend actionable improvements Oversee the daily monitoring, maintenance, and supervision of solar plant operations, ensuring swift detection and resolution of faults or performance issues Leverage your technical expertise to perform advanced troubleshooting of AC/DC systems, escalating critical issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution Provide expert technical support to stakeholders, addressing client and partner inquiries while ensuring their technical needs are fully met Maintain availability for after-hours emergencies, ensuring a prompt and effective response to urgent operational matters Skills & Experience: Solar PV & Battery Energy Storage : Demonstrated proficiency in maintenance and system management Technical Expertise : Possesses a valid trade qualification with 2-3 years of experience in electrical work within the renewable energy sector Problem-Solving: Adept at troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis Analytical Abilities: Skilled in data analysis and report generation Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain excellent client relationships Software Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a preference for experience in online PV systems Instrumentation & Automation: Experience in this area is an advantage Qualification: BTech/ NDip/ N6 Electrical Electrical 3 Phase qualification adv Wiremans licence adv Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
