About the Role: Our client is looking for an O365 and Mimecast Engineer to join the Digital Collaboration Services team within the Digital Workplace Operations Services division. This role is crucial in supporting essential technologies like Microsoft Office 365 and Mimecast to ensure seamless functionality and improved security across the organisation. Requirements: Matriculation certificate, plus a relevant IT certificate; A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a similar field would be advantageous; A minimum of 4 years' experience in administration of Microsoft Exchange, Mimecast, and Microsoft Office 365 applications, or other email security products, is required; At least 5 years of experience in a similar role; MS-900 Certification is required; Exposure to or accreditation in ITIL is preferred. Extensive experience with O365, M365 tools, and Email Security technologies like Mimecast; Strong PowerShell scripting skills for Azure and M365 configurations; Deep understanding of Active Directory, Desktop Engineering, and Endpoint Security; Ability to develop technology roadmaps and integrate adjacent technologies; Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities; Excellent organisational skills in digital environments; Effective communicator across stakeholders. Role & Responsibilities: Support O365, Mimecast, and on-premises Exchange environments; Maintain security standards and governance for O365 and Email Security; Contribute to the vision and strategy for Office 365; Provide technical support for Office 365 applications and updates; Collaborate to enforce email security practices and investigate incidents; Implement controls to manage risks and ensure a secure environment; Assist in data and application migrations to Microsoft cloud services; Follow ITIL service management processes for changes and incidents; Deliver training sessions as needed; Follow ITIL service management processes for changes, incidents, service requests, and problems; Offer general application support to various business units; Stay current with emerging technologies to drive innovation and enhance offerings; Deliver training sessions as needed.
