Nursing Services Manager Durban

Our ClientOur client, an independent hospital that has provided health care services in Kwa-Zulu Natal based in Durban, is looking to recruit a Nursing Manager who will be responsible for managing the entire patient care nursing process, achieving determined levels of quality care and standards of service.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCompile, implement and monitor the hospital specific nursing strategyDrive and support a culture of quality nursing care and patient safety in line with the hospital operational goals and objectivesManage patient risks to achieve patient safety in line with specified clinical outcomesManage resources to ensure optimal operational efficiencyManage and ensure a positive patient experience in line with corporate benchmarksLead and manage people in the nursing departmentEnsure optimal utilization of a competent and engaged workforce and other resources in line with the relevant company guidelinesLead and manage direct reportsEstablish and manage key stakeholder relationships to achieve integrated patient care and positive clinical outcomesDesired Experience & Qualification4-year Degree in Nursing, Nursing ManagementAt least 5 years professional experience in a tertiary healthcare institution10 years or more management experience in a tertiary healthcare institutionProven track recordPackage & RemunerationA permanent position with a Basic Salary, Medical Aid, and Pension Fund.
