Job category: Other: FMCG, Retail, Wholesale and Supply ChainContract: PermanentRemuneration: Market RelatedEE position: YesIntroductionTo promote and deliver professional, commercially viable and quality clinic services in compliance with South African Nursing Council regulations and company standards.Key Responsibilities:Manage a commercially viable clinic in line with company guidelinesProvide lifestyle management screening testsConduct "Well Baby" clinics, including health immunisations and baby health monitoringOffer and provide reproductive health servicesProvide adult immunisationsProvide Primary Health Care e.g. minor ailments and wound careRender a Phlebotomy ServiceCompile professional, stock and financial management reportsManage medical waste, ensure a safe environment and safety precautions are takenManage adverse events and emergenciesCounsel and advise patients on health information, weight management and refer patients to Pharmacists and other health professionals when appropriatePlan and implement "Health Days" and other projectsDevelop health professional networksQualifications and Experience:Registration as Professional Nurse3 year diploma in nursing or the 4 year degreeA minimum of 3 years practical experience in a broad range of nursing disciplines, preferably Community Health, Primary Health and MidwiferyUnisolv and Allegra (preferable)MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:Ensures patient information is held securely, confidentially and accurately maintained on an electronic systemAdministration and reporting to ensure efficient running of the clinic as per company policy and processesEnsures payment for services received by ensuring controls in place and adhered toManages, monitors and orders clinic services stock and equipment, along with prevention of loss and shrinkage and monitoring cold chainFinancial and commercial acumenEnsures SANC registration and indemnity up to dateEstablishes locum network and arranges locumsImplements and conducts self-audit toolTime managementCompetencies:Adhering to Principles and ValuesWorking with PeopleDelivering Results and Meeting Customer ExpectationsFollowing Instructions and ProceduresRelating and NetworkingPlanning and OrganisingCommercial AwarenessKindly note only applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.All positions will be filled in accordance with our Employment Equity plan.
