Job knowledge and interpersonal skills.Duties:Responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse.This includes caring for the patients, their possessions, documentation, and the control and economical use of stock and equipment in the ward.Always maintain professional conduct and standards in accordance with the SANC/Job Standard/Hospital policies.Promote and maintain good working and interpersonal relationships with management, patients, staff, visitors, doctors, and colleagues.Coordinate nursing service activities with other departments.Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of comprehensive care to patients.Coordinate all working activities to accommodate normal hospital routine.Perform other departmentally related duties e.g., reinforcing ADL.Provide total nursing care to patients undergoing physical rehabilitation treatment, including eliminatory nursing, monitoring vital signs, intake and output monitoring, and urine testing.Assist with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.Maintain accurate and complete patient records.Participate in the education and support of patients and their families.Adhere to all infection control safety protocols.Notes:No faxed or emailed applications will be considered.
