Nursery Room Leader – Wapping (All Rooms)Role: Nursery Room LeaderHours: Full time – 4 Days doing 7:30am to 6:30pmSalary: £25,700 – £30,000 per annumQuint Education are looking for flexible, creative and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join our team and we continue to enhance our already amazing practice.Must be Level 3 Qualified and have previous Room Leader experienceWe are one of the largest providers of childcare in the UK and a leading partner for some of the country's top health clubs, retailers, schools, and private clubs. We invest heavily in our colleagues through a variety of tailored programs.The Nursery is open 5 days a week and provides a quality first-class educational experience for children.Your role as a Nursery Room Leader will include:To be responsible for the day-to-day management of their own room encouraging good practice and being a good role model.To ensure regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their child's progress.Promote positive working relationships with the parents and staff within your room.Supervise children at play indoor and outdoor, and at meal times to ensure safety.Supervise your team to ensure that children's work is displayed effectively.Ensure that any food served is monitored and we conform to Food Safety regulations.Take responsibility and support the staff in your room in planning appropriate activities for the children, following the EYFS framework.To take charge of own key worker group and inform parents and other staff of any other relevant information.Maintain children's records inclusive of observations and their next steps. Be responsible for creating an attractive and stimulating environment.In the absence of the nursery manager/deputy nursery Manager, assist with the overall running of the nursery and supervision of the team.Requirements:Have experience working with children birth to 5 years.Must hold a minimum L3 childcare qualification.Ability to develop and deliver an engaging activity plan in accordance to the EYFS.Ability to communicate with children and parents.Work well within a team.Basic IT skills.Applicants will need to show they have the right to work in the United Kingdom and the successful candidate will be subject to a DBS, reference and social media checks.Our client offers a range of benefits:Lots of training, promotions and a good salary for the sector.
