Npd Food Technologist

Our client is looking for an NPD Food Technologist to join their team in the FMCG industry.
Purpose of the Role: Coordinate, manage and report on new product trials and launches at George production facility and assist with the product administration from the trial to launch phase and post launch review.
Provide technical support on packaging related queries and legislative compliance.Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Strong planning and project co-ordination capabilities to drive products to launch successfully, in accordance with the NPD processOn-going and clear communication of project updates with key stakeholders (internal and external)Strong working relationships with all internal teamsEffectively coordinate production trials and communication within George production facilitiesContinuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives pertaining to existing products (formulations and/or packaging elements)Qualifications and Experience: A relevant tertiary qualification in Food Science / Food TechnologyMinimum 2 years food production experience, preferably within dairy industryProficient in MS OfficeProficiency in SYSPRO will be advantageousProven track record as an effective project coordinatorValid driver's license and own transportWilling to travel as and when requiredShould you not receive a response within 2 weeks please consider your application unsuccessful.
