You will collaborate on the development of talent management strategies, ensuring career paths and succession planning initiatives align with our long-term goals.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage the skills development budget for all regions, optimizing financial resources to maximize effectiveness.- Ensure compliance with COMPANY training and development policies while overseeing the Oracle Learning Management System.- Establish and implement a quality management system for skills development practices.- Design and develop learning materials for training events and e-learning purposes.- Lead University, schools, and EXPO campaigns to raise awareness of laboratory careers and bursaries.- Provide ongoing skills development for all staff, including sourcing accredited training providers.- Implement leadership interventions to enhance the skills of senior managers, middle managers, and supervisors.- Coordinate training interventions and maintain accurate records of training programs.- Update the organization's Training Needs Analysis (TNA) annually and coordinate workplace skills plans.Minimum Requirements & Key Competencies:- 3-year Diploma in Human Resources/Training and Development or equivalent (NQF 6).- Registration with ETDPSETA advantageous; Skills Development Facilitator certification essential.- 7 years of experience in a training environment, with 5 years in a managerial/supervisory position.- Knowledge of organizational behavior principles and skills-related legislation (e.g., SDA, SDL, SAQA Act).
