Non Motor Claims Specialist

Annually Cost To Company (Market related)The main purpose of the Claims Specialist's role is to validate and administrate a client's claim following a fortuitous event. The claims specialist will be responsible for various Non-Motor Claims. Claims settlement determinations are made in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure, claims guidelines, the specialist's own mandate, and the client's policy schedule.Requirements:Matric Certificate – essentialRE – highly advantageousHigher Certificate in Short term Insurance - NQF 5 or Full Qualification NQF 4 – highly advantageousMust be compliant with FAIS Fit and Proper requirements with track-record of working unsupervisedComputer literate – Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience working on the TIAL Operating System (System A) – highly advantageousExperience in non-motor claims – preferred, but not essentialAt least 2 years relevant work experience where customer service forms an intrinsic part of the roleWork experience within a licensed insurer – highly advantageousWork experience with Brokers – Pre-requisiteEffective time management skills required: the ability to function and perform well in a fast-paced environmentPlease note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
