It is not a management positionPlease answer all the screening questions to be eligible for considerationOPERATIONSAfter hour support of the ILIOS national operation and field staff teamsProblem-solving, decision-making and crisis resolution to achieve service deliveryOngoing monitoring and support for all services after 23:00pm and before 06:00am and implement any required changesContinuous checking of the tracking system to ensure that all services are on track and immediately deal with any changes or variancesChecking of all arrival/departure flights for services after 23:00pm and starting before 06:00amHandle all after-hours calls from ILIOS field staff and industry partnersProactively resolve any after-hours challenges immediately and send report to relevant Operations Team and SalesImmediately advise relevant Branch Manager of any challenges that cannot be resolved without their approval, input and/or guidanceConduct early morning wakeup call and report for duty checks for all branchesCheck and ensure all field staff starting before 06:00am are on track to their destinations, special attention to long-haul servicesCheck and ensure all field staff collecting clients prior to 06:00am are at their collection points on timeEnsure effective briefing of early morning CPT field staff on requirements for the dayEnsure that early morning CPT field staff have all the resources required at the start of their shift (nameboards, waybills, directions, tour funds etc.)Reconfirming of field staff nationally, should there be after-hours changes to their scheduleResending of tour/transfer confirmations, should there be after-hours changes to servicesPreparation and issuing of updated driver/guide waybills, nameboards, maps and directions as required, should after-hours changes occurAccurately update the schedule and online documents with changes, as and when required - advise relevant Operations teamEnsure a shift handover is received from/sent to all branches at the start/end of the night shift - report any non-compliance to the Branch Manager: CPTHandle all vehicle breakdowns and accidents - ensure alternative arrangements are made to ensure services are executed as plannedEnsure any injured staff and/or clients receive emergency medical assistance, where requiredIn liaison with the relevant branch, ensure accident/breakdown vehicles are recovered accordinglySupport to and effective communication with the field staff, Operations, Planning, Fleet and Sales teamsEnsure planning principles are always applied and adhered to, and/or adapted where requiredEnsure attention to detail is applied with regards to accurate allocation of resources and capacity requirementsEnsure all tasks have been completed at the end of the shift, as per operations handoverREQUIREMENTSMinimum 1 - 3 years' experience in the tourism transport logistics and/or hospitality industriesMatric, Certificate in Tourism ManagementComputer Literacy (MS Office, Email)Ability to work under pressure, effective crisis management and resolution.Ability to work unsupervised, team player and confidentiality.Strong administrative and customer service skillsMust have emotional intelligence and interpersonal skillsGood written and verbal communication skills, telephone etiquetteTime management, accuracy and attention to detailSupervisory experience is advantageousMust be able to work a permanent night shift 22:00pm - 06:00am (one off day in the week and off every second weekend)Own transport is required, due to late start and early finish, as per operational requirementsJob Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):Are you able to work a permanent night shift as indicated on the job advert?Do you have your own transport to get and from work, per the shift start and end requirements?Please indicate the cost to company salary and employee benefits desired.Application Deadline: 2024/10/25Expected Start Date: 2024/11/04
