Village N Life is a leading Tourism and Hospitality company that is based in the beautiful Camps Bay.The Bay Hotel, a luxury hotel based in Camps Bay on the beachfront, seeks a Night Manager to join their Front Office Team.The position is to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. Responsible for checking in guests and managing any requests they might have. Ensure excellent service is rendered and that the guests have a good experience while staying at the property.Minimum RequirementsMatric5 years previous experience in the same/similar positionFamiliar with all the duties and procedures of the hotel environmentOperaOpera Cloud advantageousDuties And ResponsibilitiesWorking the night shift at the Front DeskAssist guests with the check-in process, assign rooms, issue room keys, and manage requestsVerify and prepare for next day guest arrivals and departuresMonitor hotel security camerasResolve guest complaintsEnsuring all end-of-day tasks are completedAuditing and account reconciliation from the day shiftVerify all revenue expenses from the day shiftPost room chargesInvestigate and resolve issues found on accountsPrepare reports for the day shift and for various departmentsEnsure accuracy of room ratesAnswer all incoming callsConfirm guest information and payment methodsEnsure a high level of guest services and relations to ensure they have a positive experienceUpsell other products and service partnersDue to the volume of CVs received, only candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.If you have not heard back from us in 2 weeks, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
