Here's what you need to know before applying:Your key responsibilities will include:Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctlySupervising a small team, creating a positive environment where everyone feels welcomed and supportedBeing a responsible key holderUsing the till, taking orders and receiving paymentsAssisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessaryProducing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelinesPlacing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levelsDelegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all timesComplying with Food Handling & Hygiene standardsComplying with Health & Safety regulationsOur ideal Chef Supervisor will:Have previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environmentPossess good communication skills in order to liaise with a wide range of team members and customers within your work environmentBe able to comply with legislation and follow all rules and regulations laid down in the staff handbook and unit policy statements, with regard to uniform, personal hygiene, health and safetyBe customer service focusedBe a team player with a can-do attitudeTake pride in personal appearance and hygieneBe self-motivated and able to use own initiativeHave the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
