The role holder will be a key member of the Finance team working closely with the teams in Johannesburg and Stellenbosch. Duties and Responsibilities: Duties and Responsibilities: Lead weekly / monthly / quarterly performance reviews with Senior Leadership team, presenting current financial performance, outlook and highlighting areas of opportunity and issueProvide commercial and financial support for business change activities, e.g. M&A, cost reviewsExecute as needed on required finance close and reporting activitiesSupport management of business unit cost and revenue within budget parametersBusiness unit performance analysis reviewing (income and expenses) actuals compared to budget, forecast and PY resultsSupport in the management of regulatory requirementsBuild strong relationships across the Senior Leadership team Skills, Experience and Requirements: Internationally recognized accounting qualification (CA(SA)/CIMA) with 2+ years of post-qualification experienceNewly qualified CA (SA) or candidates with at least an Honours Degree will be considered.Sound knowledge of IFRSThe candidate should be resourceful, proactive and able to self-manage adherence to reporting deadlinesStrong financial reporting skills including experience with the production of financial statementsStrong attention to detailPrevious experience of working within the Financial Services industry will be advantageousPrevious planning, budgeting and forecasting experience would be an assetPrevious experience in preparing board reports would be an asset
