Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements , ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards. Perform detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support investment decisions . Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth month-end and year-end closing processes. Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts , and financial models for various investment projects. Monitor the financial performance of portfolio companies, analyzing variances and providing commentary. Assist in due diligence for new investment opportunities, including assessing financial health and risk. Liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audits of group financials and compliance requirements. Qualifications and Skills: Newly qualified CA(SA) with completion of both ITC and APC exams. Audit experience with financial services companies is essential. Strong knowledge of IFRS and other financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Proficiency in financial modeling and ability to work with complex data. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
