This position is a fixed-term, full-time contract until December 2025.Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students with three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston, and Leanyer.Teacher Librarians provide an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, and psychological growth. They are responsible for the development and implementation of a stimulating and engaging learner-centered library program and the provision of a range of support services to staff and students in areas such as teaching and learning and the promotion of a reading culture that results in students achieving academic success.As a community, we inspire and equip students to flourish as compassionate, highly capable people who enrich the lives of others, guided by Christian values.The ideal candidate should have experience in a library setting (desirable) and a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, developing, establishing, implementing, and monitoring learning and curriculum.
