DescriptionRPO Recruitment is currently seeking a creative and experienced New Product Developer to join our client's team in the Food Production Industry. As a New Product Developer, you will be responsible for developing and launching new food products that meet market demands and drive business growth.ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end product development process from concept ideation to commercialization.Conduct market research and consumer insights analysis to identify new product opportunities.Develop product concepts and formulations that align with target market preferences and company objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Purchasing, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure successful product launches.Create and maintain detailed product specifications and documentation.Conduct sensory evaluations and product testing to ensure quality and consistency.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.Work closely with suppliers and external partners to source and evaluate ingredients and packaging materials.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.Manage project timelines and budgets to meet project goals and deadlines.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in new product development in the Food Production Industry.Extensive knowledge of food ingredients, formulations, and food processing techniques.Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards.Experience conducting market research and consumer insights analysis.Excellent project management skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and product development software.BenefitsSalary: negotiable.Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
