New Business Development Manager (oil/lubricants)Purpose of role is to develop new profitable business within the B2B Direct Business sector, in line with company's growth strategy.Plant office environment and ability to travel.Reporting to Direct Sales Lead.QualificationTertiary qualification in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering or relevant field.RequirementsAt least 5 years of experience with a demonstrable track record and skills/experience in Sales and Marketing.Strong demonstrated track record of business development within the B2B sector and improving market share in identified priority sectors (mining, industrial, construction, fleet).Knowledge of the petrochemical and energy industry. Knowledge of B2B Lubricants supply is advantageous.Knowledge of Syspro is advantageous.Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tool is advantageous.Strong listening and presentation skills.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Internal and external Stakeholder management skills.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Strong Analytical Skills (monitor, analysis, and provide recommendation).Demonstrate high levels of integrity.Good interpersonal relationship with internal and external parties.Ability to work under pressure.Ability to make decisions.A positive self-starter, flexible, results oriented.Ability to work with a diverse group of people.Highly detailed work requiring accuracy and working extended hours if required.DutiesUpselling opportunities within current customer base (Use customer purchase data to identify product opportunities and purchase patterns).Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecast.Monitor and Measure customer orders.Work with internal stakeholders (Tenders, RFP, RFQ, etc.).Provide Support DSR's to meet targets.Provide weekly update on pipeline.Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, by actively prospecting and qualifying leads.Thorough research and analysis of sector market and industry trends.Research business opportunities and viable income streams.Proficient in developing business proposals and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential customers.Identify and map business strengths and customer needs.Ensure that we conduct customer reviews and follow up.Review daily reports such as back orders, dispatched not invoiced, etc., are actioned.Resolve escalated customer complaints and close out on NCR's.Daily review and update of Salesforce prospect activities.Measure and Monitor company's GP per SKU per customer to align with sales budgets.Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.Company Policies.Business Ethics.Company Policies and Procedures.Manage personal development and internal/external stakeholders.Ability to manage and measure own performance.Skills transfer and development.Manage Discipline.Mentor and coaching.Commercial (Cost, margin, and pricing) support.Exceed all new business development targets.
