About the RoleAs Group Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations, logistics, and supply chain management. Your mission: to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve operational excellence across the organization. This role is pivotal in aligning strategic initiatives with organizational goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Strategy & ManagementDevelop and implement strategies to optimize operations across business units.Enhance workflow, resource utilization, and overall efficiency against key performance indicators (KPIs).Oversee logistics, transportation schedules, and warehouse operations to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.Lead and mentor operations managers and department heads, fostering accountability and innovation.Drive team training, performance evaluations, and talent development initiatives.Introduce best practices in operational and supply chain management.Utilize data analytics and ERP systems to identify bottlenecks and improve processes.Champion the adoption of new technologies to streamline operations.Assist in budget development, cost control, and resource allocation.Recommend and implement cost-saving measures.Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.Develop and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans.Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external partners.Negotiate contracts and oversee service delivery performance.Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations management.Verify payroll accuracy and oversee disciplinary actions and union negotiations.Supervise procurement, installation, and maintenance of equipment.Develop preventive maintenance schedules and ensure safety compliance.Education:Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related fields Experience:5+ years of leadership experience in operations management, preferably in agriculture, FMCG, or integrated supply chains.Proven expertise in managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives. Skills & Competencies:In-depth understanding of agricultural operations, supply chains, and commodity markets.Proficiency in logistics management, ERP systems, data analytics, and advanced Excel skills.Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Strong budgeting and cost-management skills.
