Network Recruitment | Field Applications Engineer (Jhb)

Key Responsibilities:Provide expert technical sales support and consulting, focusing on industrial networking, VLANs, Fibre, VPNs, IoT, firewalls, and cybersecurity (across industries such as mining, factories, water, and solar).Offer innovative technical solutions, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs (installation, configuration, and deployment).Support with SAT/FAT product testing and offer technical support for troubleshooting and repairs.Conduct and facilitate technical product training for industrial networking.Proficiently report and document technical case studies and solutions.Manage time effectively and oversee additional assignments or projects to help meet strategic goals.Required Qualifications & Experience:4-5 years of experience in industrial networking and field support applications (e.g., control & instrumentation technician).BTech diploma in electrical/electronics/mechatronics/IT Networking/electrical engineering (or similar).Knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA development, and networking principles (LAN, WAN, VLANs, IoT, Fibre, VPNs).CCNA (CISCO) Layer 2/Layer 3 certification.CompTIA A+, N+, S+ certifications.Proficient in Microsoft & Windows systems; Linux knowledge is a plus.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.Ability to travel, with a valid drivers license, working vehicle, and valid South African ID/visa/passport.For more information contact:Phindile MajoziSpecialist Engineering Recruitment Specialist
