We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures, with a strong focus on Fortinet firewalls and Cisco core switches.
Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructures, including LAN, MAN, and WAN networks.Configure and manage Fortinet firewalls for security and access control.Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco core switches for network routing and switching.Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.Troubleshoot network problems and implement solutions.Develop and maintain network documentation.Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends.Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.).Expertise in Fortinet firewalls and Cisco core switches.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Thriving on daily challenges, you know how to work independently and actively contribute ideas to bring added value to your projects.
