Network Administrator

Managed Talent Solutions' client in the automotive industry is looking for a Network Administrator to ensure WAN and LAN network upkeep as well as network security.
This is a 3 month fixed term contract.
CCNA & Meraki experience required.
Networking fundamentals: A strong foundation in the basics of networking, such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, and subnetting.
Meraki Controller:   Must be familiar with the Meraki portal and easily be able to navigate and troubleshoot LAN related issues using the Meraki cloud controller.
Network security: Must be familiar with network security technologies and best practices, such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), and security policies.
Operating systems: Must be proficient in working with different operating systems, including Windows and Linux (Preference not a requirement) Virtualization: Must have a fair understanding of virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Cloud computing : You should be familiar with cloud computing platforms and technologies, such as Azure.
Network monitoring and management tools : Must be proficient in using network monitoring and management tools, such as Nagios, OpManager, and Check_MK.
Network troubleshooting : Must have a strong troubleshooting mindset and be able to identify and resolve network issues quickly.
Communication skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with other members of the IT team, as well as with non-technical stakeholders.
Documentation skills: Must be able to document work effectively and create detailed network diagrams, reports, and other documentation.
Continuous learning : Must be willing to continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the networking field.
